General tariff/cableway/ski lift and ski piste usage regulations


The general tariff/cableway/ski lift and ski slope usage regulations, the published price tables and the officially approved conditions of carriage as indicated in the valley station area are part of the contractual relationship between the cableway company and the customer. With the purchase of the ski pass, the customer acknowledges these provisions and undertakes to comply with them.


Anyone who uses the cable cars and lifts and ski slopes, including all facilities offered, must have purchased a valid ski pass.


By purchasing/purchasing a name-related ski pass, the customer agrees to an automatic registration of personal data. The customer agrees that these data are recorded and processed by computer for control purposes to prevent improper use of cards, as well as for customer service purposes. All data will be deleted immediately if the underlying ski pass is no longer valid.
By purchasing/purchasing a ski pass, the customer consents to personal photographic recording, storage and processing at the ticket issuing and access points for control purposes to prevent improper use of the card, whereby this data is deleted when the ski pass is used in accordance with the contract. Customers who do not wish to submit to the photographic recording have to express this on their own initiative, in such cases a ski pass is issued to the respective customer, which excludes the photographic recording. Customers who opt for this ski pass variant are likely to experience delays in issuing the ski pass and in the context of regular analogue checks at the access points of the cable car/ski lift facilities.


Ski passes are non-transferable and are issued on electronic media. For electronic data carriers (KeyCard), which are issued at cash registers, a KeyCard deposit of 5,- is required. The KeyCard deposit paid at cash registers will be refunded in full upon return of the functional and mechanically undamaged data carrier.


All key cards are automatically checked at the access points equipped with electronic control systems.

Ski passes must be presented to the respective inspection body for visual inspection during random checks throughout the ski area. The control bodies are entitled to confiscate misused ski passes.


Anyone who uses cable car and/or lift facilities as well as ski slopes without a valid ski pass is liable to criminal liability under Austrian law. Violations are punishable by a fine (as a contractual penalty) of at least 100,-- as well as the payment of a day pass value at the full rate or with a complaint to the public prosecutor for criminal prosecution.


Misuse of ski passes, such as unauthorised transfer, results in the withdrawal of the authorisation without replacement and the exclusion of transport/skiing area. Abuse is punished with a fine (as a contractual penalty) of 100,-- per calendar day, as well as the payment of a day ticket value at the full tariff or with a complaint to the public prosecutor for criminal prosecution. Attempting to transfer a ski pass to another guest is already considered an abuse.


There is no contractual liability for injuries or other damages of persons who are in the ski area without a valid ski pass.


For reasons of customer safety, the cableway company reserves the right to limit sales and/or transport due to weather or operating conditions. Customers are not entitled to a replacement of their ski pass in the event of loss, theft or forgotten ski pass. If cableway/lift facilities are prevented from being transported for reasons which are the fault of the cableway company, the tariff will be refunded in full for single tickets and in part for multi-day ski passes, i. e. proportionately, taking into account the operating days not yet consumed. Machine breakage, power outage and similar situations are considered force majeure and do not entitle the customer to rate refunds.


Each ski pass conveys only the right to use the cableway/ski lift and piste facilities in operation according to the autonomous decision of the cableway company. Therefore, no customer has the right to the availability of all cableway/ski lift and piste facilities, as meteorological, technical and operational factors are decisive for this availability. the customer shall comply with the operating restrictions imposed by the cableway company in the context of customer safety. Reimbursement of the fare may only be requested in the event of a sports injury in the ski area, on presentation of a medical certificate from a local doctor/hospital and immediate deposit of the ski pass at one of the ticket offices. The amount of the refund can only be based on the purchase value and the duration of use of a ski pass. In any case, no refund is granted for ski pass entitlements valid for up to one day.


In the event of a closure ordered by a legislator or a public authority (e. g. as a result of a pandemic), every customer is entitled to a refund of the ski pass fee from the cableway company on the following conditions: For multi-day ski passes, the following procedure is exemplary: 5-day ski pass, which could be used for 3 days, is refunded the difference between 5-day ski pass and 3 day ski pass. The customer therefore pays for the price of the ski pass. a 3-day ski pass. In the case of seasonal ski passes, the amount of 38. 00 (adults), 32. 00 (young people), 19. 00 (children) and 36. 00 (seniors) will be deducted from the paid fee for each electronically recorded daily entry, and the difference will be refunded. the duration of a statutory/administrative closure before the end of the regular season, the right to reimbursement shall be entirely waived if the customer then has the time to consume his ski pass from the end of the closure on so many days that the multiplication of the daily entry with the remaining days of operation is the non-consumed ski thatremuneration exceeds.


Children as customers up to a height of 125 cm may use chairlifts and tow lifts only in the company of a guardian, unless the installation-specific official transport conditions provide otherwise. Customers who have reached the age of 15 and have the special, self-responsible practice in the use of drag lifts are allowed to push children in front of them regardless of their height. Carrying small children with tow lifts is forbidden. Otherwise, the conditions of carriage of the respective plant shall apply.


Separate tickets for pedestrians are only valid for transport without winter sports equipment. Pedestrians are not allowed to enter the ski slopes. Tobogganing is not allowed on ski runs.

Pay reductions are available to clients with a proven disability of 60% or more (excluding already reduced pay).


The rules of conduct of the International Ski Federation (FIS) are fully valid. Reckless conduct or other gross violations of these rules of conduct or of the general tariff provisions and conditions of carriage entitle the cableway company to withdraw the licence without compensation and may result in criminal proceedings.


For the rescue/transport after accidents in the ski area, the customer affected by the rescue/transportation has to pay the fixed annual amount of 120,00 incl. VAT to be paid.


The ski slopes are closed daily from 5 pm to 8 am and may not be entered or used during this time. During this period, the cableway company does not provide security. There is a risk of injury due to runway preparation, winch ropes, snow production and exposed cables and hoses (example list of hazards).


Free access to the forest requires a special sense of responsibility and commitment to its protection. According to the Forestry Act, skiing with winter sports equipment in the forest and in the area of ascent aids is only permitted on marked slopes or ski routes. It is forbidden to enter forest crops under 3 m tree height and to throw away waste of any kind. Failure to comply with the Forestry Act/Waste Management Act results in a refund of the report and the withdrawal of the ski pass entitlement without compensation.


The parking spaces provided by the cable car company may only be used by customers with a purchased ski pass and, furthermore, only during the period from 08. 00 to 20. 00. Vehicles parked contrary to this regulation may be used by the cableway company with a tyre claw. A flat-rate fee of 50,00/calendar day is payable for the use of the tyre claw and its removal.
