- from Italy and Slovenia: motorway until Villach, take A10 Tauernautobahn motorway, take first exit Villach-Ossiacher See, via Treffen, Radenthein and Bad Kleinkirchheim, Ebene Reichenau south exit to Turracherhöhe.
- from Switzerland: via Tyrol and Salzburg, A10 Tauernautobahn motorway then proceed as described above;

From the bus station in Feldkirchen with the line number 5234 via Ebene Reichenau directly to Turracher Höhe. The bus stop is located at the Panoramabahn cable car.

- southern route: to Unzmarkt then change to Murtal line as far as Predlitz, continue by taxi. Or continue from Unzmarkt with the train shuttle www.bahnhofshuttlekaernten.at, bookable daily at +43 42000 24 from 5:00 a.m. until midnight.
- Tauern line: until Spittal/Drau, from there by train shuttle www.bahnhofshuttlekaernten.at bookable daily at +43 42000 24 from 5:00 a.m. until midnight.

The nearest airport is Klagenfurt, with approx 60 km or 60 minutes away by car.
Attractive direct flights from Berlin & Hamburg, Cologne-Bonn with Germanwings and AUA from Vienna.
Several other airports nearby are Graz, Salzburg, Munich and Ljubljana.
