Berghof Turrach is a rustic holiday home, built entirely of wood.
Its age is estimated to be around 250 to 300 years. Originally, the house was inhabited by miners in what was once the mining village of Turrach. Between 2009 and 2012, the house was completely renovated.
In summer 2017, a new roof and a modern pellet heating system were installed.
Between 2019 and 2022, further improvements were made, including the attic conversion and the addition of a new parking area. Electric charging for hybrid or electric vehicles is available at the parking space via a 230 V connection. (Please refer to the rental/payment conditions and indicate at the time of booking if you wish to use this service. Thank you.)
The Berghof is located in the mountain village of Turrach at an altitude of 1,250 meters above sea level.
It is just a ten-minute drive from the Turracher Höhe ski area (1,860 m – 2,200 m). The valley station of the Turrachbahn is only 5 minutes away by car (2.3 km). At the Turrachbahn valley station, where free parking is available, ski tickets for the Turracher Höhe can also be purchased. From there, you can access the entire ski area via the lifts—without long waiting times at the base station.
There is also a cozy mountain hut with a terrace, perfect for a meal or a drink after skiing. This allows for a relaxed and flexible start and end to your ski day—without stress or queues.
